Vanship note: update thing.

Original vanship permissions and info post is HERE, though it won't be updated with this until later tonight when I have time.

BUT IN THE MEANTIME SINCE THIS'LL BE ON

cfudnetwork!!!!

Axe Crazy ended in Dio's vanship getting quite a makeover (if you can call holes and claw marks and burns a makeover I GUESS TO ASSHOLE BIRDS NAMED ANKH THAT'S A MAKEOVER), so since the event, he's been working on it pretty nonstop (because flying seriously guys NOT FLYING IS HORRIBLE) and redoing its frame. It's probably almost done by now!

The vanship basically looks the same as pictured in the permissions post, but lacks the "don't seat front please/even though it's the backseat it's pointing to/even though in that guardian angel boyfriend scene they subbed the words as Lucciola's seat" Greeklish on each side since. Lucciola is there now!

And also because with how negative sense that shit makes, oh Last Exile. SO NOW THE VANSHIP HAS A LITTLE LESS BAD GREEKLISH ON IT.

(just a little though: "Kaltafare" you mean Kartoffel right Last Exile)

I know... only one more booklet... and then it's over...

Anyway... The Island Where Angels Descend... if the Exiles were built in orbit (like Millia's dream suggests), probably this island was like a hub where people gathered to be transferred to the Exiles. The guild people were moving back and forth for the transfer, so to normal people they appeared like angels coming down to bring people to the sky.

...You wouldn't happen to have a scan of the full version of the BR cover, would you? The one with Luscinia and Alauda at Sara's back? Because I'm a hopeless Sara fangirl over here and I'm hesitating between buying the BR just for it or waiting for a hypothetical artbook that might never come out.

Do you mean the scan of the DVD cover? Now that I think of it... there was no full cover version or poster with the disk, only the first press bonus (Murata sketches/artwork) ... O_o" I'll check it for you, but you'll have to wait till next weekend because I am not at home right now.

This right here in the lower left. I can survive without the Sara sketch sheets, but I need that poster image in my LE fangirl life, so by all means, if you do have it and would be awesome enough to scan it, I'd love you forever. If you can't or don't have the time, that's fine, I'll just end up buying the whole thing - I was only trying to avoid paying for the BR itself when all I want is one piece of art.

Why aren't they releasing artbooks? Don't they want my money?! T_T

Also man why did they do that. :( Probably so people would buy that version for ~THE EXTRA BACKGROUND~ but gosh yes from that small picture they look so awesome! The only HQ DVD poster I've seen floating around is the Dyan one.

Seriously, WHY. All the other posters were just bigger versions of the cover and then this one happens with a completely different background and OF COURSE it has to be the Sara one and the background has to have the resident Ades Guildies in it. /RAGE

It's not a matter of time, I *always* have time for LE :)

Haha awww, okay! A couple of them still haven't been scanned (I only have a good version of Dio and Al's because the top half of it was in a magazine but that's it XD)

And aah thanks for that too! I have the CD but hadn't gotten around to scanning or ripping it. I was a little :( that it didn't end up being a drama CD like I thought before the info for it came out, ububu
