... so anybody who has me on Plurk has probably laughed at the similarities I both point out and SUDDENLY REALIZE between Dio and Yzak. Their uh. Obvious glaring face-value personality differences aside. Because. Yes.

So here is a compliation so everyone can laugh at me.





So first the very obvious physical similarities. Hair style and color. White uniforms with black and then gold trim.



Dio is from the Guild: Who are mentally and physically superior to normal humans due through genetic enhancement. Also possibly clone stuff. Thanks canon.
Yzak is a Coordinator: Who are mentally and physically superior to normal humans through genetic enhancement.


They are both from hourglass-shaped colonies in space. Dio from Prester, Yzak from PLANT.



They both have blond partner bitches who they have crazybonds and emotions with. Dio has Lucciola, Yzak has Dearka.



They have family members who are kind of like clones of them. Dio's sister, Delphine, and Yzak's mother, Ezaria.



They are both pilots.



They are both commanders of their own squadrons in the sequel.



They both had markings on their faces in the first series, that are gone in the sequel.

There are probably more things that I am missing and may perhaps possibly add down the line but you know what I'm not going to try to think of any more because look at this already.

The kicker to this all is I originally picked up Last Exile when someone was like "there's this guy who looks just like Yzak only he's a lot gayer." And look where I am now.
