Kane had a great first impression on Dio because he was one of the people who didn't dislike camp! HE THOUGHT IT WAS INTERESTING AND FASCINATING and Dio sort of always thought camp was a pretty fun place.

Kane falls into a "cute" category for Dio's relationships. He's a nice, polite sweet guy who thinks things are cute and looks at new and different things with a fascination and curiosity. Which is what Dio does, even if Kane is, again, polite about things and a little more dere/subdued while Dio is ... Dio about them. Dio likes connecting with all sorts of people with all sorts of different personalities, so Kane definitely fits a certain niche. And there's still a lot they could do in terms of interactions I think because Kane is a type that Dio would tease but oddly enough it hasn't really come up yet. DIO WILL TROLL YOU YET.

His talk about the future and other planets makes Dio :|a in that THERE ARE OTHER PLACES OUT THERE maybe somehow they can reach one and really let Earth heal in his world instead of having plans that end up not really helping much at all in the end lolol. Though that's not really on Dio's MAIN AGENDA since he's not even sure that it's possible or will be for a while. BUT that aside Kane helped open up an interest in other world technology when it comes to flying so Dio likes looking stuff up and getting all LOGICAL about things and how they compare to stuff at home and how this would work here or how that would work there.

And hahaha the whole vanship with them is. Well Kane being so NICE about everything like WOW THIS IS AMAZING YOU MADE THIS WOW Dio is just like. Yes my ego thank you. :> Not only the ago boost OR the interest but the fact that Kane seemed to get the meaning behind vanships in general and said he would love to see his world from the skies like that is why Dio is drawing him up plans. Since oh my gosh Kane you haven't had the pleasure of this it is the best feeling ever YOU POOR DEPRIVED CHILD.

So yes. Kane is fun to hang out with because they have a lot of the same reactions and approaches to things depending on what they are, Kane's interesting to talk to because they can talk about mundane everyday things, but then they can also be smart TECHNOLOGY AND MECHANICS!!! at each other.

And all in all we just need to thread more in general because I loev Kane.

Dio on Chitose? idk, I'm not sure if much has happened there :|a

ENOUGH HAS THAT I HAVE A GOOD GRASP also clearly we need to thread more and do more cabin shenanigans.

But Dio liked Chitose off the bat because despite, you know, BARGING INTO PLACES UNANNOUNCED like "hey what's going on in here" Chitose still ... offered him the place to stay. He's chirpy and lively when it comes to how to deals with Dio instead of being like SIGH and exasperated by him which ... can be common from his type! So Dio likes that because Chitose is more engaging and fun that way. He gets along well with him because he's mature and laid back but NOT COMPLETELY because he's also really nice and occasionally quippy (like when he called Dio cute when he was a girl :x THAT WAS SO AMUSING TO DIO)

But yes we should plan things together!

Chitose likes Dio a lot. Like, he thought he seemed so happy and nice from the very start and it really just made his day a bit better, because Chitose's not been the happiest lately, even if he feels like he needs to put up a show of being all right. He knows he needs to get out a bit more, and it helps if there are people who are interesting to talk to! Dio is one of those people, and he also reminds him a bit of himself how he was before camp.

And as you say, they're not DUMB either of them, and have a level of maturity that works well. The chemistry just works, and Chitose just wants to work up the energy to get back to take life in stride because it's easier if there are things to do. And Dio's fun to hang out with in general. (ALSO YES Chitose totally thinks he's cute whenever. Sex-swaps has never really affected him much in how he perceives a person, but Chitose is generally also kind of snuggly and thinks everything and everyone are cute. XD)

Breeze falls into the "children" category (that has many feelings like I had rambled about here that time) which is like the coolest category ever because Dio loves the childrens. But he likes Breeze a lot! SHE HAS SPUNK so she's amusing and fun to talk to. He also likes that she comes off as self assured and strong and enjoys showing off her speed since ... well he does the same things a lot. :x AND IT FEELS GOOD MAN.

But at the same time he is ... worried about her! From what he knows about her. Especially because when she deaged she was really different so he wonders if the whole FAYZ thing was the big changing factor for her. She's trapped somewhere with WEIRD MONSTERS and there are no adults and there were also graves in that worldseep - not to mention the kill count thing. '-'a But then on the flip side she told him they could see the adults that went missing on the outside, so that's good! And she seems like she wants to see her family again and misses them, so he hopes she can soon because that FAYZ stuff sounds lame and why does this shit happen to children for serious?

But that's also another thing - the kind of 'split' he sees - like all of the aforementioned things on top of stuff like her telling him she was learning how to pickpocket. But then that she's chilling out in camp with people like Vanya and they are doing things like CLUBHOUSES is nice to see because it's fun and better than focusing on things like SURVIVAL in a shitty place. So it seems like she's hanging onto that despite the need to ... change and toughen up in the FAYZ. So he hopes she hangs onto that long enough until things get better (WHICH SEEMS HOPEFUL TO HIM FROM WHAT HE HEARD ABOUT THE BARRIER?) so she can ... go back to her life and not be all sorts of fucked up from crazy FAYZ things.

So when it comes to her Dio just enjoys popping up and seeing WHAT'S UP and if something fun is happening he'll totally get in on that so they can have some fun. He doesn't like seeing her pissed off or sad but he's glad that she's not too adverse to actually talk about some things if asked. From what it sounds like if she goes home she's not gonna have a choice but to keep on trucking in the FAYZ, and while he hates that they are all CHILDREN there, they have to survive until they find a way out, so even though he :(s at her keeping up her mad killing skills, there's really no other way to go about that. So when she's not doing that and is doing fun things around camp he's like HAY GUYS to keep that side relevant. She's friendly with him and he likes her a lot and wants to keep derping around with her to get to know her better.
