Okay so! THERE ARE THREE THINGS HERE! One is DIO'S IC GIFTS FOR HIS CR! The other is a list of things he gets/is getting from others.

The last is just a few notes since Dio is apparently going to a lot of people in the post I made last night like LET'S DO THIS AND THIS TOMORROW AND ON CHRISTMAS! And I'd like to sort out what he is doing/did, AND MORE IMPORTANTLY if anybody wants to either do late or backdated posting when I am home! Or even backthreading/backdated journal posts for certain things, you can even use this post for that. Since I'm probably not the only person popping out over the next two days, I'm willing to do whatever!

Since it's for a span of time (read: two weeks!)

I am going out west to OR to visit Fam/Loki and Star-Lord/Sky-High/Nova/MM, DIO AND FAM ARE GONNA GO BE SKY PIRATES IRL OH SHIT. There was also talk and jokes about going to the rose gardens and also Voodoo donuts so I can actually get Triple Chocolate Penetrated irl and not just ICly. So that on top of beach times means I will be a busy homoelf!

I will be on the internets! So I am either going to be madame slow tagger if I decide to play a little, or if I don't, just assume Dio is still around doing his thing. You know how Dio rolls.

Vanship note: update thing.

Original vanship permissions and info post is HERE, though it won't be updated with this until later tonight when I have time.

BUT IN THE MEANTIME SINCE THIS'LL BE ON cfudnetwork!!!!

Axe Crazy ended in Dio's vanship getting quite a makeover (if you can call holes and claw marks and burns a makeover I GUESS TO ASSHOLE BIRDS NAMED ANKH THAT'S A MAKEOVER), so since the event, he's been working on it pretty nonstop (because flying seriously guys NOT FLYING IS HORRIBLE) and redoing its frame. It's probably almost done by now!

The vanship basically looks the same as pictured in the permissions post, but lacks the "don't seat front please/even though it's the backseat it's pointing to/even though in that guardian angel boyfriend scene they subbed the words as Lucciola's seat" Greeklish on each side since. Lucciola is there now!

And also because with how negative sense that shit makes, oh Last Exile. SO NOW THE VANSHIP HAS A LITTLE LESS BAD GREEKLISH ON IT.

(just a little though: "Kaltafare" you mean Kartoffel right Last Exile)

Okay, so this went from a 'headcanon about a general What Happened with Dio's recovery' to 'I'll just make a whole life timeline of headcanon shit' and then ended up with 1/5th of a NaNoWriMo.

I'm also still waiting for the day we get actual canon on some of this stuff, but it's GONZO so I will not hold my breath.

One day I'm gonna type up a big ol' headcanon/what Dio is doing around camp at any given time/offscreen list so his CR and cabinmates alike have an idea of. The magical they are dealing with. But one thing I mentioned was that Dio takes a lot of pictures! And he really like doing it too, considering the stuff you see in Fam (see here, here and here :'D). Vanya got him a digital camera for Christmas and he probably has a lot of dumb pictures of him and his friends in various state of embarrassment, shenanigan or dumb pose.

And even though I loathe to subject you all to terrible art, I did little 10 second doodles of the kind of pictures that probably exist in camp if you play with Dio. And then got bored so did a few more and then took pictures with my cameraphone because I roll with quality all around.

So I apologize to the following characters for subjecting them to this fug: Vanille, Takeru, Hiro, Kane, Senri, Toboe, Ankh, Lucciola, Yotsuba, Yui and Vanya.

A thingy thing?

Which isn't so much of a retcon since apparently I went with the right assumption when I canon updated in CFUD?

On the Fam JP wiki, they got an FAQ up for the final episode, and one of the things they talked about on it was the very end with Dio getting yellow card trolled (something I went OH MY GOD WHY ARE THEY SO VAGUE ABOUT THIS WHAT THE FUCK AM I GOING TO DO WHEN I CANON UPDATE). The answer for the question mentioned the Last Exile exhibit in Nakano going on right now, where there are things with info and storyboards and other things from what I gathered looking through twitter and blogs and stuff about it (apparently Dio had long hair in the early storyboards? Which invoked a few shoops and pieces of fanart...).

And I guess since the answer mentions it it's the closest thing to legit unless they make a note of it in another canon source? The wiki says "In the descripton of the exhibit in Nakano, Dio became disqualified from a fuselage/airframe check, not because nobody was riding in the backseat, suspect that it was disqualified because there was something in violation with the aircraft itself."

And his vanship was what I went with when I updated since ... Dio's vanship was made by him and its statistics are kind of insane compared to the norm of the series. IT'S STILL DUMB AS HELL because seriously no matter what the reason was you'd think they'd check the vanships before the race itself...

Unless Dio just decided to fly up and join without doing that. Which. He would do. SO YES for now I have that and hopefully it's legit because if it is then I went with the right thing. /o/

Now I want to go make a wikia account to correct all of the pages on the English wiki that have the wrong info about it, but if I make an account I know I'm going to go crazy and correct other things as well as add all of the information ever like from the Chronicles translations.

So! When I apped Dio pretty early on in Fam, there had already been a couple of instances to back up what happened after I apped him in CFUD. IE, how intensely adorable he is with youngins. I love all of Dio's CR endlessly, but when it comes to anybody under the age of like ... 15, threads always ended up turning into things I sit there smiling goofily at as I tagged.

And then as Fam went on, Dio's interaction with other children just solidified how I'd been playing him with the kiddies in camp.

So now have some screencaps of all of the canon adorable and some rambles about those interactions.

And apparently after typing out the whole post this also turned into a DIO AND HIS SISTER AND HIS LIFE AND THOUGHTS ON FAMILY essay in how it relates to his interactions with kids. Whoops this got long and rambly!

So there's this cute girl in Last Exile. Her name is Alvis. And you should be apping her.

Aw, she's cute, you say! But what else is there to her? A LOT The entire first series' storyline basically revolves around her. She's being protected by many people from certain antagonists trying to get their hands on her, because she possesses a mysterious power that they seek. Al is quiet and cute, just as confused about her own powers as half the cast is, but as time goes on she gets braver and forms bonds with the cast that stretch through both series.

Also, she should just be apped because with Dio and Lucciola in camp, they need to gay uncle it up with her all day, erry day. It will be the cutest thing. Now have some imagespam of how adorable they are, because this is what would go down in camp if she came, only x 100.

Christmas ... presents...

Okay so TARA SUPER MEGA ULTRA SUCKS BALLS at present ideas, which is something Dio probably does not suck super mega ultra balls at. So this is a general IF YOU HAVE THREADED WITH DIO MORE THAN ONCE/discussed Christmas with him/got HIM something, odds are he got you something.

This can range anywhere from flowers to more customized things (like once he made a loli a pilot helmet that was fitted to her magical hairstyle). So yes ASSUME YOU GOT SOMETHING COOL FROM DIO if I. Have time to think of more specifics I might update but. Lol already Christmas Eve.
