Slight appearance change and stuff.

So in wake of heart games, Rook is going to be wandering around for the next couple of IC weeks with a bandage going from the very top of his neck to disappear under his uniform (though it only goes as low as just below his collar bone). The collar of his uniform is going to be open or just loose while his injury heals. I'll note this in tags as well (which already feels obnoxious like HAY GUYS LOOK IM INJURED LOL!!!!!!!!!!) but yes.

FROM THEN ON THOUGH and once he can wear his uniform normally, part of a scar from the injury is going to be visible poking out from under his collar. Look I even made an image ref of the injury.

But along with that is another permanent change, Rook will always be wearing a pair of goggles around his neck from now on. Since he got his precious birthday gift back ICly. ;3; ALWAYS.

I'll note both of these things in his stats page as well, but yes. I might also add that the bases of all of his fingers on his left hand have a faded scar ring around each of them from way back when the water tube game happened since I. Forgot to consider that in the past. ~~Nothing from anything else though like cry wolf or anything since sob. I love how it's free reign to pick and choose what stays or doesn't though. :3c~~

Now I wanna commission something with SCARS AND GOGGLES fffffffff. /looks up cheaper head-shot commission prices..............

Second Dio & Lucciola drama post!

DESPITE THE FACT THAT I HAD THIS DONE FOR A WHILE just never put it up on the journal properly.

So Last Exile Night 3 happened! And once again we were treated to a live drama from their seiyuu. This drama was written by the author of the novels, and takes place sometime before the series proper; I have no idea if this drama has a title like the old one did! If it has one, nobody mentioned it or I somehow missed it completely.

One whole day of the event was dedicated to Dio and Lucciola and they had other fun things and tidbits which can be read here! Including a ... thing that I actually submitted thinking it would be ignored, but I was the one who requested for Noda to ICly sing the birthday song to Lucciola. :x AND SHE DID IT BUT ALSO GOT THE WHOLE ROOM TO SING ALONG and then they said that Lucciola's birthday would be on the day Dio named him and guys I can't believe my request turned into that I still start blushing and grinning like an idiot knowing I bonded with LE nerds on the other side of the world somehow. .///. Sempais noticed me.

Anyway yes. THIS DRAMA IS CUTE JUST LIKE THE FIRST and features Dio being weird, jumping out of vanships, playing in mud and Lucciola drinking water from his hands.

WE PART 2 NOW. Please refer to this post for the first series ones including a special video for Dio fabulousness. Basically Last Exile has the best character-narrated episode previews in the world. So now that the Fam DVDs are out and subbed and has them, clearly it was time.

DIO IS ONLY IN ONE BUT IT'S. AMAZING. LOOK.

The compilation for the whole series is here! Includes gems such as TEDDY BEING THE FUCKING ULTIMATE ALPHA JESUS CHRIST I WAS CRYING WITH LAUGHTER oh my god TEDDY. Aerial Log & Friends Novel

OKAY FOLKS HERE WE GO.

First, before the novel which is under the cut, Aerial Log as a whole didn't have much in terms of new artwork. Just the anime stuff that was in the monthly magazines (which are all online IIRC since I have them all saved), and the novel illustrations (which are under the cut with the novel!). There's no timeline (boo), but there is a staff table talk as well as World Report-- which IS texty so hopefully serves as enough of a background description about the Earthside of things.

There is a sketchy thing of Tatiana and Alis though so here.

And here are a couple of Diocentric things before we get into the novel:
- The novel after talk calls Fam Dio "a big brother Dio who is bright and dependable." More after novel talk will be under the cut at the end of the novel, mainly concerning Lucciola and feels and things that make Tara cry a lot.

- Repeat of the whole Dio is the captain of the Silvius vanship team, but hates being bound by military rules so is off wandering on his own and calling it "reconnaissance" (since it ends up being).

- The blurb on the fight with Alauda toward the end-- mainly the text on the side of the vanship that they translate as "Lucciola's seat" in the episode says: "The rear seat of Dio's vanship was originally the constant position of his his closest friend and biggest partner, Lucciola. In the fourth episode, Dio stopped Millia from touching one of the levers, because Lucciola is still a precious existence to him. In this episode (19), even though Alvis didn't do anything, the hose naturally came off and saved Dio in his crisis. Perhaps it's the spirit of Lucciola, still by Dio's side." ABLOOBLOOBLOO MY BABIES.

- Profiles just make references to how he served as Al's escort/bodyguard (Dio and Al's profiles) and has a longstanding relationship with Dagobert (Dagobert's profile).

AND WITH THAT, here is the translation for the novel, "Friends". YOUR USUAL DISCLAIMERS APPLY. Moon is not great, worded things so it reads less choppy, Alison and TK are the wind beneath my wings for help with lines and other things. o/

AND THEN GETTING MY LOLI REMINDED ME I NEVER POSTED THIS!! In the BD booklets, they released an entire script for another .5 episode called Middle Game that was planned to air between episodes 11 and 12. It focuses on Vincent and Al playing chess (AND DIO HAS CLEARLY TAUGHT HER WELL!!! My grasshopper.) as Vincent infodumps all about Ades and its generals and Turan and warstuff.

It's really great and informative and should have been the .5 instead of 9.5 because 9.5 was boring. :(

Translation is by the super cool LE scanon and at most I just reworded a couple of things.

Also Vincent knows his shit complimenting Dio huehuehue.

Okay so! THERE ARE THREE THINGS HERE! One is DIO'S IC GIFTS FOR HIS CR! The other is a list of things he gets/is getting from others.

The last is just a few notes since Dio is apparently going to a lot of people in the post I made last night like LET'S DO THIS AND THIS TOMORROW AND ON CHRISTMAS! And I'd like to sort out what he is doing/did, AND MORE IMPORTANTLY if anybody wants to either do late or backdated posting when I am home! Or even backthreading/backdated journal posts for certain things, you can even use this post for that.
